I did it for my game and now I'm sharing it, I hope you like it!
If some NPC still wears the vanilla armor, you'll need to use the 'resetinventory' command on him/her. The Skyrim Imperial armors, shields, weapons and NPCs, aren't touched by this mod. The mod is standalone, no need to external resources. There are also two especial armors to be found while exploring, the Legion Armor and the Rusty Legion Armor. Even the ones found in dungeons, houses and forts were replaced.
Not only all the NPCs will now wear the new Imperial armors, but the new arrows, shields and swords too. So I decided to replace all the Imperial armors with the most awesome ones made by NordwarUA.
When playing the excellent Beyond Skyrim - Bruma mod, the first thing I noticed is that the vanilla Imperials armors where to skimpy for the cold weather of the north of Cyrodiil.
